Behind the Scenes of Designing My Logo: Willis Writing

As a digital marketing expert, I understand the power of visuals, and I wanted my own logo to reflect the very fields I excel in: it must be clear, concise, and impactful. So, let's dive into the thought process behind Willing Writing's logo!

The Colors of Communication

I opted for a two-toned approach. The first, a vibrant blue (#00b4d7), represents the "W" for Willis, my surname. It signifies reliability – a quality that is crucial in building long-term relationships.

The second color, a deep navy (#03045e), represents the "W" for Writing. This shade evokes a sense of expertise, perfectly aligning with the importance of compelling written content in any marketing strategy.

The Font's Role in Storytelling

Throughout the design process, I found myself constantly revisiting the font typeface. I shortlisted 10 fonts that complemented the clean lines and professionalism of the design. After careful consideration, I chose TT Norms Pro as my perfect fit. Its modern, legible yet timeless aesthetic resonated with the contemporary edge of digital marketing while maintaining a sense of credibility.
